 AKM STUDIO POLICIES

It is important to understand that these policies are vital to protecting the integrity of your appointment as well as the sustainability of my business.

As a courtesy, confirmation messages will be sent 5 days and appointment reminders will be sent 3 days in advance via text and email. It is highly recommended that you turn on these notifications. Failing to respond to these messages, or not confirming does not count as a canceled appointment and will not negate the cancellation fee.

Please read carefully. By booking you are accepting these terms:


CANCELLATION POLICY

  • You may cancel, reschedule, or modify your appointment without charge anytime 24 hours preceding the start time of your appointment.

  • Cancelling or rescheduling within 24 hours will result in a 50% fee of the total service amount. Appointments booked within the 24 hour period are still subject to the cancellation policy.

  • Change of mind Policy- Requesting a reduced service within 24 hours of an appointment - is subjected to the full amount of the original service.


LATE ARRIVALS

  • Arrivals over 15 minutes late result in a reduced service and will still be charged the full amount of the original service.

  • Consultations for non-new clients that exceed 15 minutes are considered a late arrival and will result in a reduced service and will be charged the full amount of the original service.

  • Single services - Arrivals over 15 minutes late will be considered a cancellation and will result in a 50% fee of the total service amount.


NO SHOW

  • NO SHOWS will be subjected to 100% charge of scheduled services or the a loss of a deposit.


REVISION

  • Requests for adjustments can be made within 3 days of the original service and booked no later than 7 days after requesting.

  • Adjustments are complimentary if booked within the time period.

NO GUEST POLICY

  • AKM STUDIO cannot accommodate additional guests in the salon suite with the exception of those with disabilities or special needs.


CONTACT POLICY

  • Clients should use the Vagaro App, which is available 24/7 for scheduling.

  • All out of salon bookings, cancellations, modification, and rescheduling are the responsibility of the client and should be done via Vagaro.

  • Additional questions or assistance may be addressed via text or email during available hours and will be responded to as quickly as possible.

  • Messages received during off hours will be responded to during business hours.

  • Off Hour Requests - Sun, Mon, & Tues appointment requests may be accommodated at a $100 flat fee in addition to services.
